Abstract Submission

Members/delegates are requested to register themselves and submit paper of the conference before scheduled date. 
Last date for submission of abstracts is 20th November 2018. 

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Abstracts should be related to Theme or one of the Subthemes of the conference Submission of multiple overlapping abstract is discouraged.
All abstracts will be screened for plagiarism. All submitted abstracts identified with plagiarism will be rejected forthwith.
Abstract not as per the given guidelines will not be accepted. No separate correspondence/ intimation shall be made to Author in these regards.
IN CASE THE DELEGATE IS FINDING DIFFICULTY IN SUBMISSION OF THE ABSTRACT, THEY CAN EMAIL THE ABSTRACT AS AN ATTACHMENT TO abstracts.con@gmail.com.

FORMAT
Title: Please be as brief and explicit as possible. Do not use abbreviations or acronyms in the title.
Name(s) of Author(s)
First author: Type the complete name
Co-authors: Type the complete name. The co-authors should be cited in order of their contribution in the study; main contributors should be listed first.

Abstract:
It should be typed in MS word using Times New Roman, font size of 12, single spacing, justified & limiting to 300 words.
Use subtitles to mark the parts of the abstract (Please follow structured format, indicating following five parts of your abstract).
Background – provide the background to the problem/issue.
Objectives – state the purpose of the study (research question) or a hypothesis.
Methods – methods used to address the objectives.
Results – the results obtained in summary form.
Conclusion – a summary of your findings with recommendations.
Always define abbreviations and acronyms including standard measures. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word the first time it appears.

Presenting Author:
Presenting author(s) must register for the conference and pay the appropriate registration fee. Only one person will be allowed to present. Presenting author will be given the certificate of presentation and other authors will be given participation certificate provided they register for the conference.

GUIDELINES FOR PREPARATION OF ORAL PRESENTATION
Presenting Authors will be intimated regarding the acceptance of the abstract Either as Oral Presentation or Poster Presentation as selected by scientific committee by 10th October 2018.

Final Oral Presentation must be prepared for a total of 8 minutes: 6 min for presentation and 2 min for Questions & Answers.
Presentation Schedule & Location/Venue will be intimated nearer to the date of the conference.
Ensure to carry a soft copy of Oral Presentation file in a USB drive free from any malware/viruses to the venue in case of any technical issue in uploading the same.
Arrive in the designated hall at least 20 minutes in advance. Ensure with the help of Hall Assistants that your presentation is already uploaded on the PC/Laptop which will be used for presentation.


GUIDELINES FOR PREPARATION OF FINAL POSTER PRESENTATION

Presenters & authors of abstracts approved for posters will be required to prepare their presentation based on the following guidelines:
Poster size should be width 3ft and height 4ft.

1. All presentations shall be in English.
2. The space and boards including the stationeries for putting up the posters shall be made available to the candidates by the organisers of the conference.
3. One candidate shall be permitted the use of only one display board.
4. Title of poster and name of the author(s) along with Institution of the presenting author shall be detailed at the top of the poster. The name of the presenting author shall be underlined.
5. Disclosure of conflict of interest shall be made: For full transparency, any commercial affiliation or conflict of interest shall be declared and identified just below the title, name and affiliation by each presenter.
6. The font size selected for the title (Min 48) should be larger than that for rest of the text (Min 24)
7. Please choose a font style which is easily read even from some distance.
8. A diagram/illustration can speak more than many words and may be of help in communicating your message in a concise manner.
9. All presenters shall prepare a 3 minutes’ summary of their poster highlighting the salient points followed by a question session of 2 minutes by the judges.
10. If the candidate is not present during the time his/her poster is being evaluated by the judges, the said poster shall not be considered for the award.
11. In case of more than one author, co-authors will also receive participation/winning certificates. 
12. Winners shall be awarded during the Prize Distribution and Closing Ceremony.
13. All participants shall receive a memento and certificate for participating

 

Best Paper(s) And Best Poster(s) will be selected according to the decision of the judges.
